U četvrtak, 3. marta 2011. godine, sa početkom u 18.30h, u prostorijama Računskog centra Elektrotehničkog fakulteta u Beogradu, održaće se javno predavanje Windows Phone 7 Game Development with XNA Game Studio. Predavač će biti g. Karl Davies-Barrett, Microsoft CEE Technical Lead, koji dolazi iz CEE središta kompanije Microsoft, Minhena. Predavanje je na engleskom jeziku, ulaz je slobodan za sve studente, a obezbeđen je i livestream.

Predavač

Karl Davies-Barrett: DPE Technical Lead, Microsoft CEE

Karl is the Developer & Platform Evangelism – Technical Lead for Microsoft Central and Eastern Europe. With over 15 years of developer experience gained after working in software development companies, as well as running his own business, Karl has seen software development move from the days of DOS to cloud computing. He has been a Microsoft Certified Trainer for over 8 years and has delivered thousands of hours of courses on Visual Studio, .NET development, SQL Server BI and many other components that developers come across during their everyday work. Teaching programming as an academic subject quickly helped him learn that programming should be fun and the best way to deliver that is through creating games! Thanks to XNA and c# we learn Object oriented programming and create fun games for WP7, XBOX or PC. When Karl is not playing games he also enjoys architecting software solutions around many of Microsoft’s products so as to leverage the strengths and make software development more effective and exciting. After working as the DPE for Microsoft Malta & Cyprus, Karl is now based in Microsoft CEE headquarters, in Munich.
